this is really good stuff, charlie -- didn't know you did so much quality work. you should call your blog "modest and prolific".

Per,
I took the lazy way to contact you and found your blog. Nice stuff looks good. Definitely see an IDW influence, also a bit of Ted McKeever. I will bring some of my stuff to the next class. If I can I'll bring a laptop and project some roughs and sketches and more process stuff.

Per, Sent in your eval. You do some good work! Should have though to tell you to just post it on your blog for me! I would reccomend looking at the work of not only Templesmith , but Ashley Wood, then dig backwards to Sienkewicz, Barron Storrey, Bob Peak, Bernie Fuchs. Along the way you may find other artists that interest you. Your work has a nice loose quality but all of the guys like Wood (and to some degree Templesmith) are excellent draftsmen. Learn what you are drawing before being too loose with the rendering. Hope that all makes sense. It's not something to do and move on, but it's the artists constant quest, so don't be in a hurry. You'll get better and better as you grow by days weeks and months for the rest of your life.
